Kiddwaya Faces Backlash for Requesting Public Support for Benue Attack Victims

Kiddwaya, a former Big Brother Naija contestant and son of a billionaire, is currently facing public outrage after seeking financial support from Nigerians to aid victims of a deadly attack in Benue State.

According to LMSINT MEDIA, the reality TV star initiated a fundraising campaign through his non-profit organization, aiming to help survivors of the recent Benue massacre.

In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), Kiddwaya encouraged Nigerians to donate amounts ranging from ₦500 to ₦500,000, stating, “At the Kiddwaya Foundation, we’re gathering resources to offer food, shelter, and urgent assistance to those in need. But we can’t do this alone; your support is vital.”

However, this appeal didn’t sit well with many Nigerians, especially considering Kiddwaya’s well-known reputation for flaunting luxury and wealth on social media platforms.

Following widespread backlash, Kiddwaya deleted the donation post from his profile.

LMSINT MEDIA confirms that more than 200 lives were lost during the tragic Fulani herdsmen attack that took place between Friday night and early Saturday morning in Yelewata, a community in Benue State.
