Katsina State Governor Dikko Radda Cleared to Resume Official Duties After Road Accident

Governor Dikko Umaru Radda of Katsina State has officially been cleared to return to work following a recent minor auto crash that occurred while he was traveling from Katsina to Daura on Sunday.

According to reports, the governor was discharged from the medical facility where he received treatment for injuries sustained during the accident. His attending physician confirmed that he is now in stable condition and fully capable of carrying out his responsibilities without restrictions.

This update was made public through an official press statement issued by Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor. The statement extended heartfelt gratitude from Governor Radda to the citizens of Katsina State, along with friends, political allies, and well-wishers nationwide who offered prayers, encouragement, and support during his brief recovery.

In his remarks, the governor expressed deep appreciation for the massive outpouring of goodwill and solidarity, stating that it has rekindled his determination to serve the people of Katsina State with greater energy and passion. He reaffirmed his dedication to the successful delivery of the “Building Your Future” development blueprint—his administration’s key agenda aimed at transforming the state through strategic growth initiatives.

LMSINT MEDIA earlier reported that Governor Radda was involved in a minor road mishap on Sunday evening while performing official state functions along the Daura–Katsina expressway.

Confirming the incident, Chief Press Secretary Kaula Mohammed reassured the public that the governor remained in excellent health, had sustained no critical injuries, and was responding positively to treatment.

He added that Governor Radda continues to maintain high spirits and offers all thanks to Almighty Allah for divine protection. He also extended warm appreciation to the people of Katsina for their prayers, patience, and unwavering support during the brief episode.
