Kaestyle Alleges Muyiwa Awoniyi Was Dismissed as Omah Lay’s Manager, Contrary to Online Claims

Omah Lay’s associate under the same label, Kaestyle, has asserted that Muyiwa Awoniyi, the former manager of the ‘Soso’ hitmaker, was actually fired — contradicting Awoniyi’s social media claims of a peaceful separation.

According to a previous report by LMSINT MEDIA, Muyiwa Awoniyi disclosed through a post on X (formerly Twitter) that he was no longer serving as the manager for Omah Lay after several years of collaboration.

Not long after that announcement, Kaestyle, who is both a collaborator and fellow artist under the same record label, posted a cryptic but suggestive remark. He wrote: “Dem sack you, you say I’m no longer… lol always quick to go on social media.”

This subtle jab didn’t go unnoticed. Awoniyi responded by implying that Kaestyle’s post was directed at him. He went further to clarify that his role as Omah Lay’s manager was motivated by a mission — to help the artist escape what he described as a restrictive contract under their label, KeyQaad, which still houses Kaestyle.

Awoniyi elaborated that after successfully freeing Omah Lay from the unfavorable contract, he stepped away from managing him. He then accused Kaestyle of remaining in the same allegedly exploitative situation, stating:

“I agreed to manage Omah to get him out of the very slave deal that you signed. Now he is out, I also am out. You on the other hand are a slave.”

Despite the tension, Omah Lay expressed deep appreciation for Awoniyi’s contributions to his career. In a heartfelt message on X, the artist wrote:

“@IAmDonawon The most intelligent ngga I’ve met so far in the game, love you forever my blood.”*

Awoniyi replied warmly, writing:

“Love you my brother. Clarity of mind is on the way now finally!”

In a follow-up post, Awoniyi revealed that Omah Lay had finalized plans to exit KeyQaad and had already set up his own label, reportedly called ‘Boy Alone’.

As of now, Omah Lay has not publicly confirmed either his departure from KeyQaad or the launch of his personal imprint.
