On Monday, deadly airstrikes targeted the Islamic Health Authority center in the village of Arab Salim, located in the Nabatiyeh Governorate.
Earlier, the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health confirmed the deaths of two paramedics in Israeli attacks on Sunday. One of the paramedics was killed in an assault on the Islamic Health Association Center in Houmine el-Tahta, also in Nabatiyeh, while the other lost his life in an attack on a healthcare facility in the village of Hanaway, in Lebanon’s South Governorate.
The ministry also reported that two paramedics were injured when Israeli forces bombed an ambulance center in Bazouriyeh, a town in South Lebanon.
On Friday, Israeli forces had already killed at least 15 paramedics and five civilians in an airstrike on a civil defense center in the town of Douris, near Baalbek.
Since early October 2023, Israel has been carrying out violent attacks across Lebanon in the wake of its brutal assault on Gaza. According to the latest reports, at least 3,481 people have been killed and 14,786 others injured due to Israeli airstrikes on Lebanon.
Among the casualties, more than 200 are emergency workers, the majority of whom have been killed in the past two months. Human rights organizations have condemned the killing of healthcare workers and emergency responders by Israeli forces, calling these actions potential war crimes.
