Jigawa State Governor, Malam Umar Namadi, has officially terminated the appointment of Rabi’u Garba Kaugama, who served as the Special Adviser to the Governor on National Assembly Matters.
According to an official statement issued by the Public Relations Officer in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State, the dismissal takes immediate effect.
The statement confirmed that all rights, privileges, and benefits attached to the office of Special Adviser have now been withdrawn.
Additionally, Kaugama has been directed to hand over all government assets and properties in his possession to the Secretary to the State Government’s office without delay.
At the time of this report, the reason for his removal has not been made public.
This development comes shortly after another high-profile resignation within the Jigawa State Government. Zakari Sidi Kafin Hausa, the Senior Special Assistant on Health Monitoring, recently stepped down from his role.
The recent wave of dismissals and resignations highlights a period of significant political adjustments within the Umar Namadi-led administration.
