According to Jaywon, even top-tier musicians like Davido, Wizkid, and Burna Boy frequently face online trolling. “Some of my colleagues call to discuss the current state of the industry and ask how I handle online rants and disrespect. My response is always the same: the industry today is not for the weak.
Look at the level of criticism directed at artists like Davido, Wizkid, and Burna Boy. If you’re not ready for it, you won’t last. The attacks will come, and the only real escape is to log off, but we can’t do that. This is our life, our passion, and we must keep moving forward.”
