Following Manchester United’s narrow 1-0 Premier League loss to Wolverhampton Wanderers, former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Jamie O’Hara has publicly suggested that the Red Devils either reinforce the squad to fit head coach Ruben Amorim’s style or look for a new manager entirely.
Pablo Sarabia’s decisive second-half strike at Old Trafford sealed the victory for Wolves, leaving Manchester United in a concerning 14th place on the league table.
While speaking on Sky Sports, O’Hara criticized United’s lackluster performance and expressed doubts over their current tactical setup.
“That was a very poor display from United. I’m not at all convinced by their current approach,” O’Hara stated. “They simply don’t have the right players to execute Ruben Amorim’s system effectively.”
He went on to say that the club faces a critical decision in the summer transfer window.
“Either they go all in and sign the necessary talent to support Amorim’s vision, or they start fresh with a new manager,” he added. “Failure to win the Europa League would make this season a complete disaster.”
With mounting pressure, Manchester United’s next test comes against Bournemouth in what could be another pivotal match in their campaign.
