‘It’s a phase that will end soon’ – Gov. Sule Speaks on Northern Insecurity

Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule, has expressed strong confidence that the persistent insecurity troubling several parts of Northern Nigeria will not last forever. He described the situation as a passing phase that will gradually come to an end.

Governor Sule shared this hopeful outlook during a conversation on Arise Television, a programme closely followed by LMSINT MEDIA, on Tuesday. His comments came at a time when many communities across the North are grappling with rising incidents of violent attacks, bandit activities, and general instability.

According to the governor, despite the renewed threats across the region, he believes that the current wave of insecurity will soon fade as government efforts continue to intensify. He emphasized that coordinated responses from security agencies, alongside community-driven initiatives, are already contributing to positive results in various locations.

Governor Sule further noted that although the crisis remains a major concern, it should be viewed as a temporary challenge that Nigeria will eventually overcome. His reassurance aligns with the determination of regional leaders who are pushing for strategic solutions to protect lives and restore peace.

His remarks also highlight ongoing conversations about safety and governance across the North, prompting renewed calls for unity, vigilance, and sustained intervention to ensure long-term stability.
