The International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL) has issued Red Notices for 14 Nigerians, identifying them as suspects in crimes such as human trafficking, drug smuggling, fraud, robbery, and organized crime.
These individuals are being sought by various countries for offences allegedly committed within their jurisdictions, as highlighted in the Red Notices published on INTERPOL’s official website.

Allegations Against the Individuals
- Felix Omoregie: Wanted by Belgian authorities for leading a criminal organization involved in human trafficking and the sexual exploitation of children.
- Jessica Edosomwan: Sought by French authorities for her alleged role in multiple human trafficking offences and for facilitating money laundering among rival gangs.
- Chinedu Ezeunara: Accused of drug trafficking by both Venezuelan and Uruguayan authorities.
- Benedict Okoro: Wanted by Nicaragua for suspected organized crime activities.
- Uche Egbue: Under investigation by Argentine authorities for suspected involvement in drug trafficking.
- Ikechukwu Obidiozor, Akachi Vitus, and Alachi Stanley: Pursued by Angola for charges of kidnapping, robbery, and illegal firearms possession.
- Timloh Nkem: Charged with sexual assault and failure to comply with conditions in Canada.
- Bouhari Salif: Wanted in China for drug smuggling.
- Mary Eze: Accused of human trafficking in Denmark.
- Austine Costa and Okromi Festus: Sought in India for conspiracy, forgery, and cheating-related crimes.
Purpose of Red Notices
According to INTERPOL, a Red Notice is not an international arrest warrant but rather a request for global law enforcement agencies to locate and provisionally detain individuals pending legal proceedings, such as extradition.
These notices serve to alert the public about potential threats while requesting assistance in locating the suspects. INTERPOL emphasized that any arrests would depend on the legal frameworks of member countries.
The organization encourages individuals with relevant information to contact their local law enforcement agencies.
