Inter Milan’s president, Giuseppe Marotta, has revealed that the coming days will be critical in determining the fate of Ademola Lookman’s move from Atalanta to the San Siro side. The Italian giants have expressed strong interest in signing the Nigerian forward to enhance their attacking lineup this transfer window.
Marotta emphasized that Inter will make a final push within a few days to finalize the signing or shift attention to alternative transfer targets.
“This week is very important regarding Lookman,” Marotta said during a press interaction.
“We are actively negotiating with Atalanta for Ademola Lookman, and while we are eager to bring him in, we must also respect their stance.
We aim to reach an agreement within the next two or three days. If not, we will direct our focus toward other prospective signings.”
The situation remains fluid as Inter Milan races against time to secure the services of Lookman, who has been a standout performer for Atalanta. The outcome of these negotiations will significantly influence Inter’s summer transfer strategy.
