Personal Motivation Behind the Vision

Aniefiok’s passion stems from a deeply personal story. Her aunt, having lost a limb due to diabetes, faced both financial and logistical barriers when seeking a prosthetic in Lagos—a burden the family couldn’t manage. Ultimately, the trauma contributed to her passing, igniting a spark in Aniefiok to change the narrative. During her education, she witnessed many patients traveling long distances, disrupting their families and livelihoods for months, merely to secure a prosthetic.

With two co-founders, she committed to redefining prosthetic care by integrating technology to improve accessibility and outcomes for persons with disabilities.

The Journey: From Concept to Launch

Though the idea began in 2018 following their graduation in 2017, it wasn’t until 2022 that Dynalimb officially launched. The intervening years were spent refining the concept, securing funding, and learning.
