The wildfires led to several major event cancellations. Pamela Anderson’s premiere for “The Last Showgirl” was called off, as was Paramount’s screening of “Better Man”, a musical featuring Robbie Williams. Netflix also canceled a press event for “Emilia Perez”, and the Screen Actors Guild postponed their nominee announcements due to the ongoing crisis. Actor Steve Guttenberg was seen assisting evacuation efforts in Pacific Palisades. He criticized some evacuees for abandoning vehicles on narrow escape routes, urging them to leave keys in their cars to allow emergency services and helpers to clear the way for fire trucks.

Eugene Levy of “Schitt’s Creek” fame was caught in traffic congestion while fleeing the danger zone. Reality stars Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, from “The Hills”, confirmed their home was lost to the fire, sharing emotional footage on Snapchat as they watched their property burn via security cameras.
