In a disturbing security development, unidentified gunmen stormed a Fulani settlement located in Dusten Bako village, within the Ikulu Chiefdom of Zangon Kataf Local Government Area in Kaduna State, on April 3, 2025, abducting multiple residents and escaping to an unknown location.

The exact number of abductees remains unconfirmed at the time of this report. According to information obtained by LMSINT MEDIA, the assailants struck during the night, causing widespread panic in the community.

An anonymous local source confirmed that security operatives quickly mobilized in response to the attack and are currently working to track the kidnappers and secure the release of the victims. “Efforts are ongoing to locate the abducted persons and apprehend the criminals,” the source stated.

The Kaduna State Police Command’s Public Relations Officer, ASP Mansir Hassan, when reached for comment, acknowledged the incident but said he would respond in detail later. As of the time of this publication, no official police statement has been issued.

This attack adds to the growing concern over rising insecurity in Southern Kaduna, a region that has witnessed repeated cases of violence and kidnapping in recent years. The fear among residents is mounting as they await news of their missing loved ones.
