Governor Okpebholo Oversees Road Construction Progress in Benin City

Governor Monday Okpebholo of Edo State recently conducted an inspection of ongoing road construction and repair projects across Benin City, the state capital. The Governor’s tour included visits to Upper Mission Road Extension at Aduwawa Junction, Obadan Junction, and the Benin-Auchi Expressway to evaluate the progress made since contractors began work.

Strategic Road Repairs for Economic Growth Highlighting the importance of the Obadan road, Governor Okpebholo described it as a vital route that connects Edo State to major regions, including Agor, Onitsha, and the northern parts of the country. He emphasized, “

This road is crucial for boosting commerce and industry, driving economic growth, and opening new opportunities for the state.”

Dedication to Infrastructure and Progress Governor Okpebholo affirmed his administration’s readiness to spearhead significant infrastructure projects. He pointed out that despite being in office for just six days, they have initiated critical road and infrastructure efforts, including plans for flyover construction. “

We have hit the ground running, and we will keep pushing forward. It’s all about continuous work and delivering results for Edo State,”
