In a determined push to secure Victor Osimhen’s transfer from Napoli, Turkish football powerhouse Galatasaray has reportedly tabled a renewed offer totaling €75 million, modifying the previous payment plan that was earlier rejected by the Italian club.
Galatasaray Makes Another Bold Move to Land Victor Osimhen
Galatasaray, current Super Lig champions, are showing no signs of slowing down in their pursuit of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, who remains a key transfer target for the Turkish side. The latest development reveals that the club has submitted a fresh transfer bid worth €75 million to Napoli, aimed at bringing the former Lille forward to Istanbul on a permanent transfer deal.
According to trusted football journalist and transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the offer includes an immediate payment of €40 million, with the remaining €35 million structured as future installment payments. As part of the offer, bank guarantees have also been provided to strengthen the financial credibility of the deal.
Napoli Yet to Make Final Decision
The new proposal follows Napoli’s previous rejection of an initial €70 million bid from Galatasaray. However, this latest offer appears more strategic, especially with the inclusion of bank guarantees that may appeal to Napoli’s financial expectations.
Romano disclosed this via his verified X (formerly Twitter) account, stating:
“Galatasaray submit new proposal to Napoli for Victor Osimhen after €70m rejected!
The Turkish club now offers €75m with €40m immediate payment and €35m in installments, with bank guarantees as key point again.
Decision up to Napoli once again.”
At the time of this report, Napoli has not yet provided an official response to the new offer. The Italian Serie A side is expected to weigh the terms carefully, especially given Osimhen’s crucial role in their recent title-winning campaign and the financial implications of the deal.
Osimhen’s Future Still Hangs in the Balance
Victor Osimhen has been a subject of intense transfer speculation in recent months, with several top European clubs expressing interest. Galatasaray’s latest move underscores their ambition to elevate their squad’s attacking power and make a strong statement in both domestic and continental competitions.
For now, all eyes remain on Napoli’s boardroom, as the football world awaits a final decision on whether the €75 million proposal will be accepted.
