Galatasaray is set to make a historic move to secure the permanent signing of Victor Osimhen, offering a record-breaking deal to Napoli for the striker.
Osimhen, who joined the Turkish club on loan from Napoli after a failed move to Chelsea, has quickly made his mark, netting 28 goals in 32 appearances across all competitions. His impressive performance has seen him become a fan favorite, with the Nigerian international playing a crucial role in Galatasaray’s pursuit of the Turkish Super Lig title and domestic cup.
The club’s management is now determined to keep Osimhen in Istanbul beyond the summer transfer window, although they face stiff competition from top European clubs, including Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea, and even teams from Saudi Arabia.
According to Spanish news outlet AS, citing Cumhuriyet, Galatasaray is willing to offer Napoli a staggering €70 million to secure Osimhen’s permanent transfer. The deal would also include a three-year contract for the striker, valued at €15 million net per season, plus performance-based bonuses. This offer would place Galatasaray’s financial package on par with those offered by top-tier Premier League clubs.
The club’s bold move for Osimhen underscores their commitment to competing at the highest level in European football.
