Gabriel Jesus Set for Surprise Arsenal Exit Following Viktor Gyokeres Signing

Arsenal forward Gabriel Jesus may be on his way out of the Premier League side this summer following the club’s pursuit of Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyokeres.

As per a recent report by Goal.com, the Brazilian international is considering a surprising return to his homeland, Brazil, before the transfer window closes.

Brazilian giants Flamengo have initiated talks with the 28-year-old striker over a potential loan arrangement and are currently evaluating the terms of a possible agreement.

Sources indicate that Jesus is receptive to the move and has reportedly approved the proposed deal in principle.

Flamengo’s offer includes an initial loan spell with an option to make the move permanent. However, they are willing to cover only 50% of Jesus’ current salary, expecting Arsenal to shoulder the other half.

This potential transfer development comes at a time when Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is still targeting a deal for Crystal Palace’s creative midfielder Eberechi Eze, signaling that the North London club could be restructuring its attacking options ahead of the new season.
