Nigeria’s U-17 women’s national team, the Flamingos, are poised to face Algeria in the second leg of the final qualifying round for the 2025 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup. The match is scheduled for Friday at the Stade Mustapha Tchaker in Blida, Algeria. Having secured a commanding 4-0 win in the first leg at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne, the Flamingos are determined to replicate their performance and clinch a spot in the tournament set to take place in Morocco later this year.
Head coach Bankole Olowookere expressed confidence in his team’s readiness, emphasizing their motivation to secure World Cup qualification. “Our objective is clear – to win the FIFA World Cup ticket.
