Liverpool’s star forward, Mohamed Salah, has publicly invited Kevin De Bruyne to consider a move to Anfield after the conclusion of his contract with Manchester City.
De Bruyne, the Belgian playmaker, is expected to depart the Etihad Stadium once his current deal ends in June. Reports have already confirmed his openness to joining another Premier League side—even if it’s one of Manchester City’s biggest rivals.
Despite active offers from Major League Soccer (MLS) franchises, Salah believes Liverpool Football Club could be a strong contender to sign the decorated midfielder.
“I want to say congratulations to him for everything he’s achieved,” Salah said in an interview with Sky Sports (external link).
“His contribution at City has been exceptional, and he’s been a valuable asset to the league.
I wish him all the best—and of course, there’s always room for him here!”
Kevin De Bruyne has had a stellar career with Manchester City, claiming six Premier League trophies, two FA Cups, and lifting the UEFA Champions League title in 2023.
