The highly anticipated Premier League derby between Manchester United and Manchester City is set to take place this Sunday at Old Trafford. Former Manchester United defender, Gary Neville, has made his prediction for the intense matchup.
Neville, speaking on The Overlap, expressed his thoughts on United’s recent performances in big games: “United have shown resilience in major matches this season, haven’t they? Against teams like Arsenal, Liverpool, and Man City, they’ve performed quite admirably.”
He added, “I foresee a potential draw in this derby, perhaps a 1-1 scoreline, but Jamie Carragher and I both feel it could end in a 2-2 draw.”
Currently, Manchester United sits in 13th place in the Premier League with 37 points from 30 games. The upcoming clash will be a crucial test for both teams as they aim to secure important points in the league.
