The former defender stressed that when Amad Diallo operates as a wing-back, he looks capable of influencing play with creativity and flair. However, he questioned the effectiveness of Dorgu, Mazraoui, and Dalot, insisting they fail to provide the penetration and delivery required in the Premier League.

Simpson continued:

“When you have Dorgu, Mazraoui, or Dalot in those wide positions, I don’t think that system can function in the Premier League. And when it comes to creating opportunities, I really felt sorry for Sesko. He’s trying, but there’s absolutely nothing he can do without service.”
