President Tinubu commends Governor Peter Mbah’s visionary leadership and transformative projects during his working visit to Enugu State, emphasizing the role of infrastructure and private sector collaboration in Nigeria’s development.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has lauded Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah for his forward-thinking leadership and transformative infrastructural projects.

During a working visit to Enugu State on Saturday, Tinubu commissioned various state government projects, including a newly completed 135-kilometer road in the Enugu metropolis.

Speaking at the event, the president highlighted the importance of infrastructure in driving economic growth and applauded Mbah for his innovative vision and commitment to the state’s development.

“You are a visionary leader, Mbah. You’re my friend, and together, we can achieve great things. Building Nigeria and the future requires using technology and fostering investments. We must also encourage the private sector to participate in politics,” Tinubu said.

This statement was further emphasized by the president’s Special Assistant on Social Media, Dada Olusegun, who shared updates on the visit via his “X” (formerly Twitter) handle.

“President Bola Tinubu landed in Enugu for a working visit, where he commissioned various projects executed by the state government. The president commended Governor Peter Mbah for prioritizing infrastructure, which he referred to as the backbone of development,” Dada posted.

Tinubu also stressed the significance of collaboration and innovation in positioning Enugu State for 21st-century development, urging the private sector to play a more active role in governance.

“Enugu is setting the pace for tomorrow, today. Governor Mbah’s leadership is placing the state on the path to greatness,” the president added.
