Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, has encouraged citizens to embrace the values of generosity and unwavering submission to the will of Almighty Allah, as demonstrated by the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
Governor Sani shared this message through his verified Facebook account as part of his Eid-el-Kabir greetings to the people of Kaduna State.
He expressed:
“As we commemorate Eid-el-Kabir, let us remember the true significance of the celebration, which lies in obedience, sacrifice, unity, and compassion. It serves as a spiritual reminder for every Muslim to live a life grounded in submission to Allah (SWT), to make sacrifices for collective wellbeing, and to serve humanity with sincerity.
“I urge every resident of Kaduna State to reflect meaningfully on the profound lessons of this sacred period and endeavor to uphold these values not just during the festive period, but consistently in our daily lives.
“This is also a moment for deep contemplation. We must express gratitude to Allah for the peace, development, and improved security across our dear State.
“I earnestly appeal to everyone to continue offering prayers for Kaduna State and our nation as a whole, asking Allah (SWT) to provide us with divine guidance, strength, and wisdom as we confront challenges related to governance, progress, and safety.
“May Allah bless us with wisdom, and grant our leaders the ability to lead with equity, justice, and compassion.
“Let this sacred period also be an opportunity to intercede for the leaders of our nation, especially our President, His Excellency Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and other leaders at all tiers of government. May Allah (SWT) bless them with divine direction in their pursuit of a just, prosperous, and unified Nigeria.
“To all those blessed with material wealth, I appeal to you to follow the example of Prophet Ibrahim by sharing your blessings with the less privileged and those around you. This is a time for generosity, kindness, and strengthening social bonds.
“I also extend warm wishes to everyone traveling for the Sallah holiday. May your journeys be safe, and your reunions with family and loved ones be joyful.
“May the spirit of Eid-el-Kabir bring peace into our hearts, love into our homes, and unity and progress into our State and Nation,” he concluded.
