Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, has unveiled major appointments just hours after his swearing-in, including the nomination of Dr. Cyril Adams Oshiomhole, son of former Governor and current Senator Adams Oshiomhole, as the Commissioner for Health.
Among other notable appointees, Musa Ikhilor, a seasoned lawyer with over 11 years of legislative governance experience, has been named the Secretary to the State Government (SSG). Additionally, Dr. Samson Osagie has been appointed as the Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice.
Dr. Osagie is currently the Vice President of the African Bar Association for the West African Region and previously served as a two-term member of the Edo State House of Assembly. He also represented the state in the House of Representatives, where he held the role of Minority Whip.

Cyril Oshiomhole, the Senator’s son, began his academic journey at St. Anne’s Primary School and later attended Command Secondary School.
