Doris Ogala Rejects Alleged $10,000 Settlement From Pastor Chris Okafor

Popular Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has reportedly turned down an alleged $10,000 settlement offered by the founder of Grace Nation Bible Ministry, Pastor Chris Okafor.

The actress made this revelation in a video recorded on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, which later surfaced on her Instagram page on Saturday morning. In the clip, Doris Ogala openly addressed the alleged attempt to settle the ongoing controversy privately.

According to her statement, the clergyman allegedly approached her with the money as a form of settlement and pleaded with her to publicly withdraw and discredit all previous claims she had made against him.

While narrating the outcome of what she described as table talks, Doris Ogala claimed that Pastor Chris Okafor asked her to falsely state that some pastors influenced her to speak against him.

In her words, she explained that the money was handed over in two installments. She alleged that $5,000 was given the night before, while the remaining $5,000 was handed to her the following afternoon.

Doris expressed shock over what she described as an attempt to manipulate the narrative, stating that she was allegedly asked to shift blame to unnamed pastors and then publicly deny everything she had earlier said.

She emphasized that the money would never represent any form of transaction involving her integrity, life, or body. According to her, accepting the money was not an agreement but a deliberate act to show that the offer was indeed made.

The actress further stated that she rejected the request to accuse or implicate any pastor falsely, insisting that everything she had previously said remained true and unchanged. She added that the sum involved did not influence her position and denied any act of blackmail.

Doris Ogala also mentioned that the money was given to her in a Zenith Bank envelope, stressing the date and exact time the video was recorded, which she said was 5:39 pm on December 23, 2025.

She concluded by reaffirming her stance, stating that she would not lie, retract, or shift blame to anyone in exchange for money.
