In a heartfelt conclusion to a controversy that has captured the attention of both Nollywood fans and followers of the clergy, acclaimed Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has officially accepted an apology from Pastor Chris Okafor, the founder of Grace Nation Bible Ministry.
Earlier in the day, Ogala had shared a video of Pastor Chris where he openly sought forgiveness, signaling his willingness to make amends. In the video, the pastor could be seen kneeling in front of his congregation while expressing deep remorse for past mistakes, emphasizing the sincerity of his apology.
Speaking in the video, Pastor Chris stated:
“I am not joining issues,” he explained, directly addressing Doris Ogala. “Mistakes have been made in the past, and I tender my apology to everybody. But everything that was said is not true. There are so many lies in most of the things that were said.”
Despite clarifying that not all accusations were accurate, Pastor Chris reaffirmed his commitment to make things right. He expressed readiness to offer restitution to any woman who might have been hurt or offended by his actions.
“To Doris Ogala, I will apologize, and I also apologize to everyone. I am ready to make a restitution to anyone and anybody, any lady, anywhere I’ve offended,” Pastor Chris emphasized.
He concluded with a humble appeal to the congregation and the public:
“I’m kneeling down before everyone and before the church. Forgive me. You can judge me. Pray for me.”
This resolution has been welcomed by fans of both parties, highlighting the importance of accountability, forgiveness, and reconciliation in personal and public life. Doris Ogala’s acceptance of the apology demonstrates a commitment to closure and moving forward while encouraging dialogue over conflict.
