FULL LIST: Breakdown of Road Project Costs Approved by Tinubu During FEC Meeting

The Federal Executive Council (FEC), under the leadership of President Bola Tinubu, convened on Tuesday, March 4, to approve multiple road construction contracts aimed at improving Nigeria’s infrastructure.

Sunday Dare, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Public Communication, confirmed the approval of these projects and their commencement. The former Minister of Sports and Youth Development shared this update via a post on his X (formerly Twitter) account.

Details of the Approved Road Projects and Their Costs

  1. Odupani-Itu-Idedem Item and Ikot Ekpene Road (Cross River & Akwa Ibom States)
    • Awarded to: Decon Construction Nigeria Limited
    • Project Type: Dualization
    • Approved Budget: ₦55 billion
  2. Abuja-Kaduna-Zaria-Kano Road
    • Awarded to: InfoWest Company
    • Project Type: Completion of the remaining 82km dual section (totaling 164km)
    • Approved Budget: ₦507 billion
  3. Flyover Construction at Abakpa (Bordering 82 Division Enugu)
    • Awarded to: China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC)
    • Approved Budget: ₦24 billion
  4. Ibadan-Ilorin Road (Section Two)
    • Project Type: Dualization using reinforced concrete pavement
    • Total Length: 147km
