Champions League: Full List Of Teams In The Round Of 16 And Playoff Round

The group stage of the UEFA Champions League has concluded, with eight teams earning automatic spots in the Round of 16, and 16 teams set to compete in the upcoming playoff round.

The final round of matches provided thrilling moments, with teams fighting for their place in the knockout stages and plenty of goals scored.

Before the last kick-off, six spots in the Round of 16 were still up for grabs, adding an extra layer of excitement to the night.

Liverpool, who had already qualified, secured the top position in their group despite a 2-1 loss to PSV Eindhoven. They benefited from Barcelona’s 1-1 draw with Atalanta to hold on to the lead.

Arsenal clinched their spot in the Round of 16 with a hard-earned 2-1 win over Girona. Aston Villa also earned automatic progression after a thrilling 4-2 victory against Celtic at Villa Park. Under Unai Emery’s leadership, Villa finished among the top eight, edging out Atalanta.

Other teams advancing directly to the knockout stages include Inter Milan, Atletico Madrid, Bayer Leverkusen, and Lille.
