In a show of admiration and celebration, Grammy Award-winning Nigerian music icon Burna Boy has generously gifted street-hop artist Portable the sum of ₦20 million. This came shortly after Portable emerged victorious in the highly publicized celebrity boxing match against Speed Darlington, tagged Chaos in the Rings.
The event, held over the weekend, turned dramatic when Speed Darlington was unable to continue into the second round due to an injury sustained in the opening round. As a result, Portable was crowned the winner by technical knockout, sealing his title in the ring.
Celebrating this triumph, Burna Boy—often referred to as Odogwu—transferred a whopping ₦20 million to Portable. The ‘Zazu’ singer announced the heartwarming gesture through his Instagram story on Saturday, praising Burna Boy for the generous support.
“20 million from @burnaboygram,” Portable shared.
