The sacrifice of Jesus Christ was indeed a profound mystery. Satan, being a created being and not omniscient, couldn’t have known the full significance of Christ’s redemptive work. The Bible reveals this truth in 1 Corinthians 2:7-8, “But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.” Here, “the princes of this world” were unaware of the ultimate purpose of Christ’s sacrifice. If they had understood the depth and power of this mystery, they wouldn’t have crucified Jesus. In John 12:31, Jesus refers to Satan as the “prince of this world,” which aligns with the description of these world powers of darkness in the above verses. The ignorance of Satan and his principalities regarding the divine plan is a testament to the hidden wisdom of God. They didn’t know that the crucifixion of Jesus would lead to the salvation of mankind. 1 Corinthians 2:9-11 further elaborates: “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.” Thanks be unto God that we know and understand the wisdom and mysteries of God; they’re not hidden to us. Christ, the Bible says, has been made unto us wisdom from God (1 Corinthians 1:30), and we have the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16). I have been conditioned to live a life of glory. I have all that I require to excel and live in perpetual health godliness, righteousness, and dominion here on earth. I am not subject to the rudiments and limitations of this world because I live in Christ, and Christ is my life. He’s in every fibre of my being, in every bone of my body, and in every cell of my blood. I reign and rule over circumstances in His Name. The Federal Government has officially launched an initiative to convert 10,000 commercial vehicles to operate on Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) within a 10-week timeframe. Announced by the Presidential Compressed Natural Gas Initiative (PCNGI) via its X (formerly Twitter) account, the project is being dubbed the “10-for-10 Campaign” and is designed to modernize public transportation in major cities like Abuja and Lagos. Campaign Timeline and Goals The campaign kicked off on Thursday, January 16, 2025, and is scheduled to run until March 31, 2025. Observers have praised this bold move as a step toward achieving a greener and more sustainable transportation system, addressing both rising fuel costs and environmental concerns. What’s in It for Drivers? Under the initiative, commercial vehicle operators can convert their vehicles to CNG systems free of charge. The benefits of these upgrades include: “This is your golden opportunity to enjoy free CNG conversions and become part of the future of transportation. Reduced fuel costs, cleaner air, and smarter commuting await you,” the PCNGI highlighted in its statement. The Road So Far: Key Achievements In November 2024, the PCNGI reported a milestone achievement—over 100,000 vehicles in Nigeria have already been converted to CNG or bi-fuel systems. The number of CNG conversion centers has also surged from just seven in 2023 to more than 140 centers by 2024, according to Engr. Michael Oluwagbemi, Project Director and CEO of the PCNGI. “Investors have injected over $200 million into CNG infrastructure, creating thousands of jobs and driving economic growth,” Oluwagbemi stated. A parent expressed frustration, stating, “The rooms are too small for four students. Each student paying ₦250,000 for such substandard living conditions is unacceptable.” Hostel Inspection and Findings by Parents’ Association The Parents’ Association of the college conducted an inspection and raised several concerns: The association demanded the accommodation fee be reduced to ₦100,000 per student and called for adjustments to room occupancy, limiting each room to two students to ensure comfort.
