Kano State Investment Promotion Agency (KANINVEST) has taken a bold step toward sustainable energy and economic growth by signing a $15 million Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with STATA Power Utility Nigeria Limited. He highlighted that the programme will address rising petroleum costs, support industrial growth, and reduce transportation expenses by introducing CNG as an alternative to traditional fuel sources. “This initiative will not only support vehicles in Kano but will also cater to industries and major companies seeking cost-effective and environmentally friendly energy options,” Halliru said.
