There’s something so important and beautiful that Jesus said in John 15:7, and it explains why you need to have the Word of God abundantly in you. He said, “If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.” You have to abide in Him and have His Word abide in you. That’s what fortifies you against the troubles and adversities of life. It brings to mind what He said in John 8:31, “…If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed.” It’s about abiding or continuing in His Word, doing the Word, never giving up. But if you don’t know His words, how can they abide in you? You’ve got to hear them, learn them, study them, and keep them in you. And here’s the beautiful result of having the Word abide in you: “…ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you” (John 15:7). The word translated “ask” here is ‘aiteo,’ which means “to call or require.” So, itmeans to call up or call forth what you desire. The phrase “be done” comes from the Greek word “ginomai,” meaning to come into being. The Lord Jesus is saying, “If my words abide in you, you shall call whatever you think about, whatever you require, and it will come into being.” That’s powerful! It makes spiritual sense because if God’s Word is abundant in you, why should you beg for anything? God’s Word is the creator of all things. The Bible says, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made” (John 1:1-3). If all things were made by the Word, and that Word is in you, why not release the Word instead of begging? Call forth what you desire, and it will manifest; it will leap into reality! So, heap up the Word in you and it’ll cause you to triumph in life. PRAYERDear Father, thank you for the power of your Word at work in me. Your Word is in my heart and on my lips. Even now, I call forth my desires; your Word on my lips creates realities. I have received an overflowing of God’s grace. I enjoy promotions, unending success, and an extraordinary life of excellence, victory, and dominion. I am loaded with good things. I am exalted with Christ in glory; I know who I am. I am chosen, royal, and peculiar! I have the supernatural grace to excel in all endeavors today. I will never walk in confusion because the Spirit of God is guiding me in the path of life and leading me in the way of supernatural success and permanent prosperity. I make my way prosperous and consistently experience good success as I meditate on the Word and speak it forth with boldness. The National Assembly has officially forwarded the Investment and Securities Bill (ISB) 2024 to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his assent. Senator Osita Izunaso, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Capital Market, confirmed the development during the Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) budget defense in Abuja. He highlighted that the Senate President has signed the bill, and it now awaits the President’s assent, expected within the next 30 days. To further strengthen the capital market, Senator Izunaso revealed that the Committee has recommended a N10 billion special fund for investor education, urging the Minister of Finance to include this in the 2025 national budget. Boosting Market Growth and Investor Confidence Senator Anthony Yaro, present at the budget session, commended the SEC for its progressive approach in 2024. He emphasized that the passing of the ISB and strategic financial reforms, like the reduction in deductions, will position the SEC for an even stronger performance in 2025. “We see great potential in the SEC, and with these reforms, we expect the commission to exceed expectations next year,” Yaro added. SEC’s Milestones and Deduction Cuts Dr. Emomotimi Agama, Director General of the SEC, expressed gratitude to the National Assembly for its continuous support.
