Transfer Update: Amorim Excludes Five Manchester United Stars From Preseason Training

Manchester United’s newly appointed manager, Rúben Amorim, has taken a bold step by excluding five first-team players from the club’s preseason training as preparations for the new campaign officially kick off at the Carrington training base. As per a credible report by The Telegraph UK, the players barred from joining the rest of the squad include: Amorim has issued a directive to all five individuals, advising them not to report for training with the core team. This decision, according to sources close to the club, is based on their expected departures from Old Trafford during the current summer transfer window. Reasons Behind Amorim’s Preseason Exclusion Decision Among the five players listed, the majority were loaned out during the 2023/2024 football season: While Alejandro Garnacho stayed at Manchester United for the entire campaign, reports suggest that he no longer fits into Rúben Amorim’s tactical blueprint or long-term vision for the team. This early and decisive move underscores the manager’s intent to carry out a comprehensive squad overhaul, starting with letting go of players who do not align with his philosophy or performance expectations. Amorim’s Transfer Moves: Fresh Faces and Future Targets Rúben Amorim has wasted no time in strengthening his squad, having already finalized the signing of Matheus Cunha from Wolverhampton Wanderers. Additionally, the Portuguese tactician is said to be keeping a close eye on Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo, who is being considered as a key attacking reinforcement. The exclusion of high-profile names like Sancho and Rashford may come as a surprise to fans, but sources indicate that Amorim is determined to reshape Manchester United into a competitive and cohesive unit that aligns with his vision — even if that means parting ways with some of the club’s most marketable assets. Tactical Insight: Amorim’s Restructure Signals Ruthless Efficiency This development marks a clear signal of the cultural and tactical shift happening under Rúben Amorim’s tenure. By removing players who either underperformed or are not part of his plans, the manager is making space for new talent, better squad harmony, and system-oriented selections over reputation. Fans of the club and football analysts alike will be watching closely to see how these moves impact the team’s performance and structure in the upcoming season.

In an exclusive interview with LMSINT MEDIA, media analyst Saheed Afolabi of Clear TV shared his expert opinion on the semi-final fixtures. “All four teams have genuinely earned their places in the semi-finals. What Fluminense did was remarkable — knocking out a strong side like Al Hilal proves their grit and determination. I think they’ve silenced many doubters.” “Fluminense, led by Thiago Silva, have a mix of youth and experience. Even though Chelsea are favorites on paper, Fluminense shouldn’t be underestimated. I’m backing them to cause an upset and move to the final.” “As for PSG vs Real Madrid, this is truly a game of champions. PSG are in top form and recently lifted the Champions League, but Real Madrid are specialists in cup competitions. With Xabi Alonso at the helm, the Spanish side could go all the way.” “While PSG are dangerous and can surprise anyone, I’m tipping Real Madrid to win. I’d prefer a final between a South American side and a European side — Fluminense vs Real Madrid would be epic.” Analysis and Expectations The semi-final stage of the 2025 Club World Cup brings together some of the most skilled players and tactically astute managers in the sport. These matchups offer not only technical brilliance but also rich narratives and emotional subplots, especially with players like Thiago Silva playing against his former club. “My Husband Is Not a Secret” – Ruth Kadiri Clears the Air on Keeping Her Marriage Private

Nollywood actress Ruth Kadiri has set the record straight regarding speculations about keeping her husband, Mr. Ezerika, out of the spotlight. While speaking during an appearance on the Dear Ife podcast hosted by Diary of a Naija Girl, Kadiri addressed the circulating rumors and emphasized that her decision to keep her marital life away from the media is not rooted in secrecy but in a deliberate desire to avoid unnecessary drama and public interference. “We go to church together, we attend events together, my life is not as private as people think. In the events I organize, my husband is always there,” Ruth stated during the conversation. The talented actress and mother of two explained that although her husband is part of her life and public appearances, he personally chooses to live a low-profile lifestyle. She made it clear that they share their lives in meaningful ways, but she simply doesn’t see the need to broadcast every aspect of their relationship on social media or the internet. Ruth Kadiri’s Perspective on Private Marriage Life Ruth elaborated further, expressing her confusion about why fans or the public expect her to constantly post or display her marital relationship. She reassured everyone that her husband is not “hidden” and that their relationship is as real and active as any public one — just not displayed for show. “For clarity, my husband is not a secret. People who know me, know him. And for me, that’s enough. Like, I don’t know why I will sit down and be thinking, what am I proving?” she explained. She affirmed that people who are truly part of her life already know her husband, and she finds that sufficient. Her point of view is based on valuing authenticity and peace over online validation or proving anything to strangers. This candid insight from Ruth Kadiri provides a fresh perspective on celebrity marriages and the growing preference for privacy in relationships in an age dominated by oversharing on social media.

“Singer Shenseea Declares: ‘I Don’t Believe in Divorce'”

Popular Jamaican dancehall sensation, Shenseea, has stirred online conversations with her bold opinion on marital issues, particularly divorce. The chart-topping artist, known for her single ‘Hit and Run’, has publicly declared her disapproval of divorce, emphasizing that partners should focus on reconciliation rather than separation when facing challenges in their relationship. Taking to her official X (formerly Twitter) account, the singer wrote: “I don’t believe in divorce. We gon’ have to learn to love each other again.” Her candid take quickly attracted both praise and criticism from social media users, sparking widespread debate across various platforms. While some fans applauded her view as a call to preserve the sanctity of marriage and foster forgiveness and understanding, others perceived her remarks differently. A number of critics labeled her comment as hypocritical, pointing out her personal status as a single mother. In more critical reactions, some individuals interpreted her post as promoting the endurance of toxic or abusive relationships, arguing that such advice could potentially endanger vulnerable individuals trapped in harmful domestic situations. Despite the backlash and the heated discourse surrounding her statement, Shenseea has not issued any official follow-up or clarification on the matter as of the time of this report.

“You Cannot Deceive God” – Cynthia Morgan Slams Jude Okoye Over Unsettled Past Dispute

Nigerian music artist Cynthia Morgan, now known as Madrina, has reignited a long-standing feud with her former music executive, Jude Okoye, over what she described as unresolved grievances and alleged dishonesty. In a candid and emotionally charged message shared on her official Instagram page, Madrina called out Jude Okoye, accusing him of backstabbing and spreading negative narratives about her behind closed doors, while intentionally avoiding any face-to-face conversation to resolve the lingering issues. The dancehall artist expressed frustration over Okoye’s alleged refusal to meet her despite her consistent attempts to initiate a personal discussion. According to her, every effort she has made to see him since their fallout has been met with silence or evasion. She revealed her deep disappointment in Okoye’s actions, stating that she believes he is deliberately evading her because of guilt or shame over how he handled their professional relationship and the controversies that followed their split in 2016. “Since 2016, all you’ve done is speak negatively about me behind closed doors,” Cynthia Morgan wrote. “Every effort I’ve made to speak with you in person has failed. It’s clear I’m disappointed in how things turned out between us, and deep down, you know you’re also disappointed in yourself. That’s likely why you’ve adopted a ‘no face’ approach.” She didn’t stop there. In her emotionally laden post, she added that both of them have consequences to face for their past choices—highlighting a spiritual angle to their fallout. She reflected on personal accountability but pointed out that Jude Okoye, too, would have to answer for his actions and the pain he caused through what she described as “dishonest dealings.” “But here’s what I’ve come to understand—I reaped the consequences of my actions because I sowed in the flesh,” she continued. “You, too, will face your own harvest, because you served as an instrument and withheld what rightfully belonged to others through dishonest means. As scripture says, God cannot be mocked.” This renewed outburst highlights the enduring tension between the singer and her former label boss, which previously drew public attention when Cynthia Morgan opened up about losing her stage name, VEVO account, and social media pages after her contract ended with Northside Entertainment, a label owned by Jude Okoye.

EeZee Conceptz in Dialogue with Mercy Chinwo to Resolve Music Royalty Conflict – Manager Coach Nancy Speaks Out

Peace Talks Underway Between Mercy Chinwo and EeZee Tee Amid Royalty Dispute The ongoing legal conflict between award-winning gospel artist Mercy Chinwo and her former record label, EeZee Conceptz, appears to be approaching a possible resolution. Nancy Nnadi, widely known as Coach Nancy and the current Managing Director of EeZee Conceptz Limited, has confirmed that reconciliation talks are in progress between the two parties. Coach Nancy made this revelation while officially withdrawing a previously issued defamatory statement she had made against Chinwo in the heat of the legal battle. As previously reported by LMSINT MEDIA, Mercy Chinwo had filed a lawsuit against her former music executive, Ezekiel Onyedikachukwu, commonly referred to as EeZee Tee, in January 2025. The lawsuit alleged that EeZee Tee diverted over $345,000 in music royalties, an accusation that stirred significant reactions across Nigeria’s gospel music industry and among fans globally. This legal issue came approximately two years after Chinwo severed ties with EeZee Conceptz over unresolved financial disagreements, prompting the singer to pursue legal redress. In the midst of the dispute, Nancy Nnadi, representing the interests of the record label, accused Mercy Chinwo of financial impropriety—an allegation that led the gospel singer to respond by filing a defamation suit. Chinwo, through her legal representatives, demanded not only a public apology but also the immediate removal of the false accusations from all associated social media platforms. In a new development that indicates a softening of tensions, Nancy Nnadi took to her Instagram page over the weekend to officially retract her statements. In her message, she emphasized that the ongoing peace resolution efforts are being led by well-respected religious leaders, referred to as the Fathers of Faith, and urged for God’s continued intervention in the process. “On the advice of my lawyer, and for the sake of peace and the love of God, I retract my earlier post about Minister Mercy Chinwo,” she wrote.“We also pray that Almighty God perfects the ongoing settlement process being facilitated by the Fathers of Faith between her and EeZee Conceptz.” Coach Nancy’s public apology and emphasis on peace reflect a significant shift in the trajectory of the matter and raises hopes of a possible out-of-court settlement. The gospel music community is watching closely, as this case continues to unfold. ? See her full Instagram post here: Coach Nancy’s Official Retraction

Dangote Cement Responds to Reports Linking Its Truck to Fatal Accident in Benue State

Dangote Group, the parent company of Dangote Cement Plc, has refuted allegations that one of its branded trucks was involved in a tragic road accident that occurred along the Wannune-Gboko highway in Tarka Local Government Area, Benue State, where several lives were reportedly lost. The company, through its official spokesperson, Mr. Anthony Chiejina, addressed the issue in an exclusive interview with LMSINT MEDIA on Monday, stating categorically that no vehicle owned by Dangote Group was connected to the unfortunate incident. Earlier reports from eyewitnesses and some local media platforms had circulated the news that a truck allegedly laden with Dangote-branded cement collided with a Toyota Sienna minivan on Sunday evening, leading to multiple fatalities and sparking public concern. However, while responding to these viral claims, Chiejina clarified that the mere fact that a truck is loaded with Dangote cement does not confirm it belongs to Dangote Group. He noted that most of the company’s products are distributed through third-party agents, who operate independently under authorized distribution agreements. “It is important for the public to understand that not all trucks carrying Dangote cement are owned by Dangote Cement Plc. Many of these vehicles are operated by our numerous distributors across Nigeria,” Chiejina explained. “Following the reports, we conducted a comprehensive check of our logistics records and confirmed that none of our trucks were involved in any road traffic incident in Benue State at the reported time,” he told LMSINT MEDIA. As at the time this report was filed, an official press release had not yet been issued by the company. However, insiders suggest that a formal communication may follow shortly to set the records straight amid public concern. The incident, which occurred along the frequently busy Wannune-Gboko Road, has drawn national attention, especially because it adds to a series of previous road mishaps involving trucks transporting cement products branded under Dangote Cement. The company has in the past faced similar accusations, prompting a broader conversation about road safety and the responsibility of corporate logistics partners. It is worth noting that this situation underscores the challenges of brand misassociation, where independent transporters who carry branded goods are often mistaken as representatives or employees of the brand itself.

Rhapsody of Realities July 7th 2025, THE UNITY OF THE FAITH

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ (Ephesians 4:13). There’s a level of maturity that the Church of Jesus Christ all over the world is expected to come to before the Rapture of the Church. This doesn’t mean every individual will become mature overnight, because we’re still winning souls. Therefore, there’ll be baby Christians, and it’ll take time to train and raise them in the Word. But God’s people are growing, becoming more aware and more united in the faith. This will continue until such a time that there’ll be unity in the spirit. What unifies God’s people in this manner is the knowledge of the Word and the ministry of the Holy Spirit. What the opening scripture tells us isn’t something to be achieved in heaven but here on earth. Notice it says, “Till we all come…,” not just some of us but the whole Church moving in unity. Even the babes in Christ who don’t know much are expected to follow the guidance of those who have walked with the Lord longer. That’s why Paul could confidently say, “Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ” (1 Corinthians 11:1). He said, “Copy me,” because he was following the Master. It’s like living in a city with a high level of enlightenment; even if someone never went to school, he or she would be cultured likewise by simply being in that environment. In Christ, we all live in God’s spiritual city: “But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels” (Hebrews 12:22). We all are involved in this maturing of the Body of Christ: learning the Word, following the Lord’s guidance, and helping others to grow in Him until we, the Church, arrive at that place of maturity and unbroken unity that the Word describes. Ensure to play your role. PRAYERDear Father, thank you for the ministry of the Holy Spirit and the knowledge of your Word that unifies and matures us in Christ. I yield myself to be a worthy example to those who are coming into the fold. As I follow Christ, I guide others by my words, actions and devotion to you. Thank you for your grace that enables me to walk in your wisdom and truth every day, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. Abia State Governor Alex Otti Urges RMAFC for Increased Federal Allocation to Boost Rapid Development

Abia State’s Governor, Alex Otti, has made an appeal to the Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC), urging the commission to consider boosting the federal allocation allocated to Abia State. According to Governor Otti, this increase would play a crucial role in accelerating the pace of the state’s developmental programs and initiatives. The governor delivered this request on Sunday from his official office, where he received a courtesy visit from Mrs. Nkechi Otti, who currently serves as the Federal Commissioner representing Abia State at the RMAFC. Governor Otti emphasized that a higher allocation from the federal purse would significantly improve Abia’s capacity to implement its numerous projects spread across the state. He made reference to a recent evaluation by the Debt Management Office (DMO), which highlighted the state government’s efforts in maintaining strong financial discipline. He stated clearly: “Anything you can do to help us increase our Federal allocation will be very much appreciated. Once again, thank you for the report. I will take my time and read through it. We have a lot of things on our hands. If we get more money to be able to execute them, why not? Particularly, we have also shown financial discipline.” In her remarks before the governor, Mrs. Nkechi Otti explained that her presence in Abia State was part of a familiarisation tour, as she had only recently been appointed to the commission a few months ago. The commissioner noted that she was keen on understanding how to better represent the interests of Abia State within the RMAFC. Governor Otti reiterated that with additional funding support from the federal government, his administration would be better positioned to fast-track its development objectives across sectors such as infrastructure, healthcare, education, and job creation. He stressed that his administration had been prudent in managing the state’s resources, which should encourage the commission to consider a fairer and increased allocation package. The appeal from Governor Otti comes against the backdrop of significant development challenges faced by Abia State, ranging from infrastructural decay to high youth unemployment. An improved federal revenue allocation could therefore help bridge funding gaps and provide the much-needed boost to local economic development. The governor closed his remarks by thanking Mrs. Nkechi Otti for the familiarisation visit and for delivering the commission’s report, assuring her that his team would review it thoroughly and engage further on all recommendations that would benefit the state

Nnamdi Kanu’s Unjust Detention While Nigeria Pardons Boko Haram: Igbo Leaders Condemn Federal Hypocrisy

A coalition of prominent Igbo leaders has strongly decried the ongoing detention of the pro-Biafran freedom advocate, Nnamdi Kanu, especially given the Nigerian government’s recent welcoming stance toward the deadly Boko Haram insurgents under the pretext of repentance and amnesty reintegration. The group criticized the federal authorities for allegedly doling out huge financial incentives to bandits, describing it as a failed appeasement strategy that risks further weakening the legitimacy of the Nigerian state as well as its security architecture. Issuing a press statement on Monday, the Igbo leaders demanded the unconditional and immediate release of Nnamdi Kanu, who they insist has suffered an unjust and unfair incarceration over the past four years solely for pursuing the legitimate right to self-determination on behalf of himself and the Igbo community. Their grievance lies in the stark contradiction: the same federal government that is willing to rehabilitate and reintegrate Boko Haram terrorists who have taken up arms against defenseless Nigerians, refuses to extend a similar olive branch to Nnamdi Kanu, a nonviolent agitator who never declared war against the Nigerian state. The statement bore the signatures of respected figures including Ben Nwankwo and Evans Nwankwo, Executive Directors of Ambassador for Self-Determination USA; AVID President Syvester Onyia; as well as members of Rising Sun Group, represented by Maxwell Dede and Father Odimegwa. Portions of the statement underlined the group’s frustration, declaring: “In what can only be described as an extraordinary hypocrisy, Nigeria’s federal government has embarked on a policy of rehabilitating and re-absorbing Boko Haram insurgents into mainstream society. At the same time, the government is spending vast sums of public funds to placate bandits through financial settlements, a deeply flawed tactic that erodes its own authority and compromises the nation’s security. On the other hand, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, a determined freedom fighter committed to the cause of self-determination, remains unjustly locked away for courageously defending his people’s rights and dignity. The international community cannot, and must not, ignore this grave injustice. The continued imprisonment of Mazi Kanu is fueling a powerful wave of outrage across the world, demanding immediate intervention and redress. The recent condemnation of the Kenyan authorities by the global community for their role in the illegal abduction and extraordinary rendition of Mazi Kanu on Kenyan soil is indeed commendable. However, this action is merely the beginning in the long march to justice. There must be full investigation and accountability for all the Nigerian and Kenyan operatives who facilitated this brazen violation of international law. Until this injustice is corrected, we continue to call for the immediate and unconditional release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. Our collective voice will never be silenced. We stand in unwavering solidarity for justice, human dignity, and the fundamental right to self-determination for every people.” By drawing attention to the contradictions in the government’s approach to security and conflict resolution, the Igbo leaders have amplified the call for justice for Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. They argue that as long as armed insurgents can be reintegrated under government programs, a peaceful agitator like Kanu deserves no less than a fair hearing and an unconditional release from incarceration. The powerful statement continues to resonate among rights activists, legal advocates, and the global Igbo community who see Kanu’s continued detention as a troubling symbol of double standards in Nigeria’s justice system.

Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan Sets Date for Senate Return Following Court Reinstatement

Suspended senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, who represents the Kogi Central Senatorial District, has officially disclosed plans to resume her legislative duties in Nigeria’s Senate chamber by Tuesday. The senator made this known in a video message currently making rounds on social media platforms while speaking to supporters who were visibly celebrating the favorable court judgment. Expressing heartfelt gratitude, Natasha acknowledged the loyalty and encouragement from her followers throughout the legal battle. “I sincerely thank you for standing by me. I am happy to announce that we have secured victory today. By God’s grace, we shall return to the Senate on Tuesday,” she declared in her video address. According to LMSINT MEDIA, a ruling delivered last Friday by the Federal High Court in Abuja pronounced that Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan’s six-month suspension from the Senate was not only excessive but also unconstitutional, violating the representation rights of her constituents in Kogi Central. The court judgment, which was handed down by Justice Binta Nyako, ordered Natasha’s immediate reinstatement. In addition, Justice Nyako emphasized that a post Natasha published — described as a satirical apology directed toward the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio — was in breach of an existing interim injunction granted on March 4, 2025. That injunction had prohibited all parties in the matter from issuing public statements or posting about the dispute on social media platforms. Ultimately, the verdict affirmed Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan’s entitlement to resume her legislative responsibilities without further delay, giving her supporters a reason to celebrate as she looks forward to rejoining the National Assembly next week.

Peter Obi: North Will Celebrate Me as President in 2027 – Here’s Why

Peter Obi, who has declared his ambition to contest the 2027 presidential election and was the Labour Party’s standard-bearer during the 2023 general polls, has confidently asserted that the people of northern Nigeria would celebrate his presidency if elected. Obi, who has become a central figure in the opposition alliance operating under the African Democratic Congress (ADC), made this statement while featuring as a guest on Sunday Politics, a programme aired on Channels Television. During the interview, Obi explained that the northern part of Nigeria is a region blessed with extraordinary untapped resources and possibilities. With 19 states, the North possesses extensive fertile farmlands and wields a powerful voter base. Nonetheless, he observed that these abundant assets have consistently been compromised and overshadowed by the continuing security challenges plaguing the area. Peter Obi elaborated by saying, “We have voted for incompetence, we’ve voted for tribe, and we’ve voted for religion. It is time to vote for competence.” He further emphasized that he wanted northerners to have confidence in him, assuring them that their greatest resources lie within their region, particularly in the vast, underutilized agricultural lands. He also acknowledged the severe criminal activities ravaging the North and pledged to tackle those head-on. Obi reiterated that if he becomes president, he is confident the North would be proud of him and would rejoice over his leadership. According to him, he is well aware of the deep-rooted problems affecting the region and holds a practical vision for addressing them.

Governor Yusuf Commissions 500 Transformers to Improve Power in 44 Kano LGAs and Rural Areas

In a determined effort to strengthen electricity distribution and uplift small-scale enterprises, Abba Kabir Yusuf, the Executive Governor of Kano State, has officially flagged off the rollout of 500 transformers, beginning with the first phase, for the benefit of rural communities spread across all 44 local government areas of the state. During the unveiling ceremony held on Sunday, Governor Yusuf emphasized that this initiative targets the ongoing challenge of erratic electricity supply, which has negatively affected grassroots economic activity and slowed broader socio-economic development throughout Kano State. He elaborated that delivering these transformers forms a critical component of his government’s wider development blueprint, which is focused on redefining industrial capacity and revitalizing entrepreneurial activities, especially in rural regions where infrastructure gaps have been most severe. Governor Yusuf explained that investing in reliable electricity networks fits directly into his administration’s policy objectives of ensuring lighting for both rural and urban environments. He underscored that enhancing illumination is a strategic tool to counteract security threats often associated with darkness in underserved neighborhoods. The governor made a public appeal to all relevant stakeholders, urging them to take full responsibility for these newly distributed facilities. He also gave clear instructions to the local government chairpersons to form dedicated committees charged with safeguarding the installations and guaranteeing that they are well maintained. Speaking further on the importance of the initiative, Governor Yusuf highlighted: “This marks only the first phase of our ambitious plan, and it represents another significant step toward fulfilling our pledge to expand rural electrification across the state. Beyond serving as a vital infrastructure project, this rollout is a courageous move aimed at boosting electricity supply for our citizens.” He added with confidence that dependable energy access would act as a catalyst for industrial advancement, raise the overall quality of life for Kano residents, and drive sustainable economic growth. He reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to reconstruct Kano’s power infrastructure and guarantee long-term energy security for communities in the state. Also addressing the gathering, Hon. AbdulKadir Abdulsalam, who serves as the Commissioner for Rural Community Development, offered high praise for the governor’s devotion to uplifting people’s lives and advancing the microeconomic environment of rural Kano. The commissioner described the transformer distribution program as a remarkable landmark, echoing the governor’s clear determination to address the structural and development challenges holding back rural settlements. According to Abdulsalam, “The delivery of these transformers represents a huge accomplishment and an extraordinary leap that will transform livelihoods, enhance economic viability, strengthen the microeconomy, and unlock fresh investment prospects. This singular act will rekindle hope and renew the confidence of residents.” A memorable highlight of the event was the symbolic presentation of the transformers to the local government chairpersons, signifying the formal transfer of ownership and responsibility for these critical public assets.
