Chelsea in Talks with Ajax Over Summer Deal for Versatile Defender Jorrel Hato

The representative of Ajax’s rising star, Jorrel Hato, has officially confirmed that negotiations are ongoing between Chelsea and Ajax regarding a potential summer move for the 19-year-old defender. In recent days, Hato has drawn strong interest from Chelsea, with the West London club keen on securing the services of the young Dutchman. The teenage talent has gained attention across Europe largely due to his ability to function effectively in multiple defensive roles. He is comfortable both as a left-back and a central defender, making him a valuable asset for top-tier clubs like Chelsea. Speaking in an interview with Dutch media outlet De Telegraaf, Hato’s agent Humphry Nijman provided confirmation that there is genuine contact between the two clubs. “Yes, it’s true Chelsea have contacted Ajax,” Nijman told De Telegraaf.“The only thing I can say is that Jorrel is now in talks with Chelsea.” The Premier League side are believed to have tabled an offer worth £44 million (€50 million) for Hato, but reports suggest Ajax are holding out for around £52 million (€60 million) to release the player. Despite the negotiations, Hato remains under contract at Ajax until 2028, making the Dutch club firm in their valuation of the player. This transfer could mark another major step for Chelsea in their ongoing efforts to strengthen their defensive line with young, versatile talent.

Neymar Confronts Fan After Santos’ 2-1 Loss to Internacional [WATCH VIDEO]

Brazilian football icon Neymar Jr., who currently captains Santos FC, was involved in a tense argument with a supporter after the club suffered a 2-1 home defeat to Internacional in the Brazilian Serie A League. The incident unfolded in the early hours of Thursday (Nigerian time), shortly after the final whistle at the Estádio Urbano Caldeira, where emotions ran high following Santos’ disappointing performance. A viral video clip obtained by LMSINT MEDIA on X (formerly Twitter) captured Neymar engaging in a heated verbal confrontation with a visibly frustrated fan. The altercation quickly drew attention, with goalkeeper Gabriel Brazão stepping in to physically separate the Brazilian superstar from the escalating situation. Despite the clash, Neymar was deeply involved throughout the match, showcasing his flair both on and off the ball. He came close to equalizing for Santos with what looked like a clear scoring chance. In his attempt to celebrate what he believed was a goal, Neymar smashed the corner flag and aggressively tugged at his shirt, only to realize the ball hadn’t fully crossed the goal line—leaving the crowd in disbelief. According to LMSINT MEDIA’s match report, Internacional secured victory with goals from Johan Carbonero and Rafael Santos Borré. Although Álvaro Barreal netted a late consolation for Santos, Neymar failed to convert key opportunities throughout the game. Ruben Amorim Set to Start New EPL Season Without New Man United Striker

Manchester United’s new manager, Ruben Amorim, is reportedly poised to kick off the upcoming Premier League season without securing a new center-forward, as reported by the Daily Mail. The Red Devils have already spent over £130 million in this summer’s transfer window, sealing deals for Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo. Despite these high-profile signings, neither of them will play as a traditional striker under Amorim’s system. The Portuguese tactician is expected to utilize his signature 3-4-2-1 formation, where Cunha and Mbeumo will be deployed as dual attacking midfielders or second strikers—the two No. 10 roles behind the central striker. Amorim is keen on recruiting a frontman with solid Premier League experience, but Manchester United’s budget constraints have significantly slowed down their activity in the transfer market. Their primary target, Liam Delap, has already opted to join Chelsea, shutting the door on a potential move to Old Trafford. Meanwhile, other possible signings—Viktor Gyokeres and Hugo Ekitike—are set to complete transfers to Arsenal and Liverpool, respectively. Due to financial limitations, United are now hoping to fund further transfers by selling off current squad members. The club has been linked with several names including: These targets remain under consideration as the club navigates a tight financial summer window, with Amorim’s striker dilemma remaining a key concern ahead of the season opener.

Ballon d’Or 2025: Jose Mourinho Reveals Four Portuguese Stars Worthy of the Award

Fenerbahce’s head coach, Jose Mourinho, has voiced his opinion on who he believes deserves to clinch the 2025 Ballon d’Or title — and he’s rooting for some talented Portuguese players currently playing for Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). During an interview with Canal 11, Mourinho mentioned Vitinha, Gonçalo Ramos, Joao Neves, and Nuno Mendes as top contenders for the prestigious award. All four players, according to Mourinho, have shown remarkable performances and contributed significantly to PSG’s successful run during the past season. Mourinho praised the French club’s overall performance, citing their clean sweep of major trophies including the Ligue 1 title, Coupe de France, and the UEFA Champions League. “I believe this PSG squad has been the most outstanding team of the season, especially with these Portuguese players — Vitinha, Joao Neves, and Nuno Mendes,” said Mourinho. “Although Gonçalo Ramos had fewer appearances, he consistently made decisive contributions.” The legendary manager also added with a touch of humor that he wishes for one of these players to secure the Ballon d’Or, but joked that football super-agent Jorge Mendes might be upset since he’s backing Lamine Yamal, another rising star, as the top contender. “Of course, I would love to see one of them win [the Ballon d’Or], but Jorge Mendes will probably be annoyed because he believes only his client, Lamine Yamal, should get it!” Mourinho added.

Why Rapper CDQ Left Banking: “I Borrowed Suits and Lacked Fulfillment”

Nigerian hip-hop star CDQ has opened up about his decision to leave the banking industry and fully embrace music as his career path. In a revealing chat with The Echo Room, the ‘Nowo Soke’ hitmaker explained that his initial pursuit of a banking job was to honor his late father’s dream. However, he quickly discovered that the profession didn’t bring him any sense of satisfaction. “I used to write lyrics during work hours instead of doing my job,” CDQ confessed during the interview, describing the internal conflict that led him to make a bold career switch. The artist went on to share that Masterkraft, a close friend and renowned music producer, used to support him during his banking days by lending him suits to wear to the office. But Masterkraft was stunned when CDQ announced he had resigned to focus solely on music. “I quit the bank job. I couldn’t inform my mom or other relatives at the time. I moved in with Masterkraft at his studio,” CDQ recalled. “I told him that banking wasn’t my true calling. I was only doing it for survival. Music, on the other hand, gives me joy—even without immediate returns.” According to CDQ, he had a conversation with Masterkraft about dedicating themselves to music fully, believing that success would come within six months. Surprisingly, their major breakthrough arrived sooner than expected. After landing a deal, the duo moved out of the slums and relocated to Lekki, a more affluent area in Lagos. CDQ rose to national recognition in 2016 with his breakout single ‘Indomie’, featuring Masterkraft and Olamide. A remix version featuring Davido took his career to even greater heights, cementing his status in the Nigerian music scene.

Singer BNXN Says He’s Now Focused on Getting Sexier

Nigerian singer and songwriter BNXN (formerly known as Buju) has recently declared that the next step in improving his public image and personal brand is to work on becoming “sexier.” The acclaimed artist behind the hit song Finesse took to X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday to share a candid update about his transformation goals. In a brief yet impactful post, BNXN wrote: “All that’s left for me to do is to get sexier.” This statement comes amid years of online body-shaming directed at him by social media users and trolls. Despite achieving musical success and industry recognition, BNXN has often found himself at the center of negative body-image conversations. His bold remark suggests a new phase in his personal journey — not only focused on musical growth but now shifting toward refining his physical appearance and style, which he considers a crucial part of his evolving brand identity. Ruger’s Past Regret Over Body-Shaming BNXN It will be recalled that fellow Nigerian artist Ruger admitted during an interview in 2023 that he deeply regretted body-shaming BNXN during their infamous social media clash in 2022. “I feel bad that I body-shamed BNXN. I really regret it,” Ruger confessed. Their former feud captured public attention, but the two artists eventually reconciled and moved past their differences. In a surprising yet welcome turn of events, BNXN and Ruger went on to release a joint EP titled “R&B,” symbolizing their renewed friendship and creative synergy. The collaboration marked a significant moment in the Nigerian music industry, showing how rivalries can evolve into unity and shared growth.

2027: Allegations Emerge That Peter Obi Was Misled Into Atiku-Orchestrated ADC Coalition

Fresh controversy has erupted surrounding the recent involvement of Peter Obi, the former Labour Party (LP) presidential flag bearer, in a newly formed opposition coalition reportedly coordinated by the African Democratic Congress (ADC). Reports now suggest that Obi, the ex-governor of Anambra State, was allegedly misled into aligning with the coalition, raising widespread concerns over internal power play. As speculation mounts, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar is increasingly being seen as a leading candidate to clinch the ADC’s 2027 presidential ticket. This comes amid strong indications that he intends to contest again in the next general elections, as observed by LMSINT MEDIA. While addressing a public audience recently, Atiku declared emphatically, “I swear to God, if elected, anyone caught in corrupt acts will face the full wrath of the law. There will be no mercy.” In contrast, Peter Obi has maintained that his presidential ambition remains centered on a one-term tenure, promising to hand over power as soon as the term ends. “I have not been part of any discussions on joint tickets, including with Atiku. If any agreement mandates a four-year term, I will honor that commitment and vacate office by May 28, 2031—not the 29th, but the 28th,” Obi emphasized. Obi Allegedly Misled Into Coalition Dr. Katchy Ononuju, who served as Obi’s Special Adviser on Public Affairs during the 2023 elections, revealed that the former Anambra governor was allegedly tricked into joining the ADC coalition under the illusion that he would be positioned as its presidential candidate. In a conversation with LMSINT MEDIA, Ononuju revealed that the coalition was a strategic ploy to lure Obi into a premature alliance. “They told Peter Obi to go ahead and register, promising that after the coalition’s inauguration, they would zone the presidency to the South and begin negotiations for him to emerge as the candidate. I warned him. These people are not sincere,” Ononuju stated. He continued, “I co-founded the Obidient Movement with Doyin Okupe. After trying to convince the PDP on zoning principles, we decided to support Obi’s leadership. That is why the Obidient Movement came into being. But I told Obi clearly that if he aligns with an arrangement that suppresses our collective vision, we will not support it.” Highlighting the insignificance of the Vice Presidency, he added, “Being Vice President means political silence. Look at Shettima, Osinbajo, or even Jonathan in the early years. Their voices were suppressed.” Accusations Against Atiku on Zoning Betrayal As Director General of the Heritage Centre, a think tank focused on governance and public policy, Ononuju accused Atiku of manipulating the zoning arrangement by refusing to honor the power rotation to the South. “Atiku once said the presidency should rotate to the South and Southeast. Why is he now resisting it? That’s why I warned Obi. The coalition was a trap. Obi even made a veiled reference during a recent Channels TV interview, confirming the ADC as a ‘future prospect,’ but stated he remains in his party—for now. The damage, however, was already done.” Ononuju further alleged that Atiku had already begun outlining his policy agenda, showing he intends to be the flag bearer. “ADC is Atiku’s political construct. There’s no room for negotiation. Once again, Obi is facing deception. Without caution, he could be politically sidelined,” he warned. Peter Obi’s Political Future at Risk if He Becomes Vice President Ononuju insisted that should Peter Obi agree to serve as a Vice President on any ticket, he would lose the support of Nigerian youths and suffer political extinction. He said, “Obi will be politically dead if he becomes anyone’s running mate. Nigerian youths will abandon him. Vice Presidents don’t have a voice—ask Osinbajo or Shettima. History shows that once you’re degraded as VP, you can’t recover.” Recalling the origins of Obi’s candidacy, he said, “Initially, Obi declined to run, remaining loyal to Atiku. But I reached out to Doyin Okupe, and we pushed the southern agenda until Obi agreed to run. Now, if he goes back on that, the youth base will walk away.” Ononuju: Atiku Built ADC Coalition for Himself Ononuju reaffirmed that the ADC coalition was a strategic framework built by Atiku and not designed for power sharing. “To be fair, ADC was built by Atiku. Why would he build a coalition just to hand over the candidacy to someone else?” he asked. He added, “This isn’t just about removing Tinubu. You must ask—remove him for what? Without a sound replacement strategy, you’re only recycling power among elites.” Ononuju described how the last campaign was structured along ethnic lines, engaging minority groups such as the Igalas, Ebiras, Babur, and Tiv in grassroots dialogue. “That’s why Peter Obi gained traction—he didn’t rely on one ethnic bloc. He appealed to all,” he said. Obidient Movement Reacts: “There’s No Truth in the Deception Claim” Yunusa Tanko, National Coordinator of the Obidient Movement, has dismissed the allegations that Peter Obi was misled into the ADC coalition. Tanko told LMSINT MEDIA that such reports are false and meant to derail the movement’s focus. “These are distractions. If Obi ever makes a statement on the coalition, it will come from him, myself, or a verified aide. There’s no truth in these claims. Obi believes in collective leadership that uplifts education, healthcare, and economic growth,” Tanko noted. Peter Obi Is Still in Labour Party; 2027 Coalition Is Strategic Tanko reaffirmed that Obi remains committed to the Labour Party and clarified that any coalition effort is strictly for the 2027 general elections. “He is still in the Labour Party to protect his followers and candidates under the platform. The coalition is a future arrangement for 2027. Right now, Obi is LP,” he concluded.

2027 Elections: Bauchi Governor Condemns PDP Members Supporting ADC Coalition

Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has strongly criticized certain members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for collaborating with the emerging opposition coalition which recently adopted the African Democratic Congress (ADC) as its political vehicle. During his speech at the PDP Stakeholders Conference held on Wednesday in Abuja, the governor made it clear that individuals cannot claim dual political loyalty. He emphasized that one cannot maintain membership in the PDP while simultaneously aligning with another political coalition. Mohammed, who also serves as the Chairman of the PDP Governors’ Forum, stated that the party must address what he described as a growing trend of indiscipline among some members. According to him, party loyalty must be singular and undivided. “Indiscipline cannot be normalized to the extent that it spreads like a disease. Being in PDP means you’re committed to PDP alone. You cannot have one foot in PDP and the other in a coalition or another party,” Governor Mohammed declared. He continued by describing the idea of forming or joining a coalition while still in the PDP as abnormal, stressing that such dual loyalty is incompatible with political integrity. “We won’t tolerate this. Coalition membership while being in PDP is a political anomaly. That’s my position. You can’t hold dual allegiance. Politically speaking, you can’t be both male and female—you must choose one identity,” he asserted. Several of the founding members of the PDP supported the governor’s remarks, affirming that no one should profess loyalty to the party while simultaneously promoting the agenda of rival political movements. According to a report by LMSINT MEDIA, the PDP has been entangled in internal disputes for more than two years. The latest fallout occurred last week when its 2023 presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, officially withdrew from the party. The former Vice President cited irreconcilable differences as the reason behind his exit, stating that the party’s current direction sharply contrasts with the original principles and values upon which it was founded. In a related development, former Senate President David Mark also left the PDP prior to Abubakar’s resignation. Mark has now been appointed the interim chairman of the ADC, the platform chosen by the newly formed opposition coalition.

Tinubu Confers with APC Governors as Party Gears Up to Appoint New National Chairman

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu engaged in a crucial meeting on Wednesday night with state governors elected under the All Progressives Congress (APC) umbrella. Sources close to the development suggest the meeting is directly tied to the APC’s forthcoming National Executive Committee (NEC) gathering scheduled for Thursday. During this pivotal session, President Tinubu is anticipated to relay his official stance to the party’s governors concerning internal leadership matters. At the heart of the NEC meeting lies the pressing task of selecting a new National Chairman to replace Abdullahi Ganduje, who vacated the position in June. Following Ganduje’s resignation, the Deputy National Chairman (North), Ali Bukar Dalori, stepped into the role in an interim capacity. While political analysts have speculated that the NEC might formalize Dalori’s position and provide him with a definitive period to organize a formal convention to elect a permanent party leader, alternative viewpoints suggest President Tinubu could nominate a permanent chairman during the same meeting. This decision could shape the direction and stability of the ruling party as it prepares for key political transitions.

Rhapsody of Realities July 23rd 2025, DISCARD DREAMS LIKE CHAFF

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God (Romans 8:14). The prophet Jeremiah, speaking under the inspiration of the Spirit, delivered a divine declaration in Jeremiah 23:28: “The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that hath my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat? saith the LORD.” Here, Jeremiah draws a sharp distinction between dreams and the Word. He acknowledges that some prophets may claim to have dreams, but those who truly possess God’s Word are obligated to deliver it faithfully and without alteration. Then, he says, “What is the chaff to the wheat?” Dreams are compared to God’s Word as chaff is to wheat. Chaff is the worthless husk separated from grain during threshing. And what do you do with chaff? You discard it. That’s what you need to do with dreams: discard them! While dreams were one way God communicated with His people in the Old Testament (e.g., Joseph in Genesis 37:5-10, Daniel in Daniel 7:1), from the moment the Holy Spirit came at Pentecost (Acts 2), the New Testament has no record of God using dreams as a means of revelation or guidance for His children. Those who continue to claim they are led by dreams are living an Old Testament life and ministry; they’re operating where God has already moved away from. Irrespective of your experiences, God’s way of ministering to His people in the Church age is by the Spirit, visions and the Word; not dreams. PRAYERDear Father, I thank you for the Holy Spirit who leads and guides me in all things. My steps are ordered by you, and my life is directed by your Word; therefore, I walk in truth, wisdom and the reality of your divine guidance, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
