Around 6:00 pm after a heavy rainfall, her friends visited her father’s shop to share the good news. Overjoyed, Praise rushed home to check the result online using her mobile phone. Unfortunately, on her way home, she attempted to cross a swollen stream formed by severe erosion and flooding in the area. In that moment, she slipped, fell into the current, and was carried away by the raging floodwaters. Her father, Mr. Emmanuel Malachi, narrated in grief: “After hearing the good news, Praise rushed home to check her results on her phone. While crossing the river caused by erosion, she slipped, fell into it, and was taken away by the flood.
