You were created to live in the centre of God’s purpose for your life, flourishing in and fulfilling His divine plan. Predestination is at work in you: “For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren” (Romans 8:29). Ephesians 2:10 AMPC says, “For we are God’s [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live].” There’s a life that’s been prearranged by God for you to live and enjoy. It’s the good life, the transcendent life in Christ. That’s why Paul commended Epaphras who laboured in prayer so the saints in Colossae would not only know but stand perfect and complete in the will of God. That means fully aligned, established, and functioning within the ambits of God’s perfect will. His will is that you prosper, be in health, walk in wisdom, win souls, live righteously and reign in life. His will is revealed in His Word. As you meditate on the Word and fellowship with the Holy Spirit, you become synchronized with God’s plans and purposes and equipped to walk accordingly. Through the Word of God and the ministry of the Holy Spirit, you’re trained to know and walk in God’s divine provisions; your discernment sharpens, and your decisions reflect heaven’s interests and intent. Even now, declare that you’re perfect and complete in all the will of God. The Lord Jesus said in Matthew 13:11, “…it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven….” Affirm that you’re filled with the knowledge of God’s will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.
