Arsenal have surged to the top of the Premier League table, creating a five-point cushion after an emphatic 4-1 triumph against Aston Villa on Tuesday night.
The first half, however, was a cagey affair. Arsenal struggled to find precision in the final third, leaving the scoreline goalless at halftime despite their attacking intent.
The second half showcased a far more dynamic and clinical Arsenal side. The Gunners quickly found their rhythm, racing into a four-goal lead. Gabriel Magalhaes opened the scoring, followed by goals from Martin Zubimendi, Leandro Trossard, and Gabriel Jesus, demonstrating the depth and quality in Arteta’s squad.
With this victory, Arsenal now boast 45 points from 19 Premier League fixtures, putting them five points clear of their closest challengers. Aston Villa remain in third position with 39 points, signaling a potential shift in the race for the top of the table.
