Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has joined prominent Nigerians and government officials in celebrating the 60th birthday of the Deputy Governor of Ogun State, Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele, praising her for her outstanding service, loyalty, and leadership contributions to the state.
The Governor highlighted that Engr. Salako-Oyedele has displayed exceptional leadership capacity throughout her career, particularly in advancing the goals of the administration’s “Building Our Future Together” Agenda. According to him, her background as a seasoned engineer, administrator, and public office holder reflects a career defined by discipline, excellence, and service.
Governor Abiodun further stated that the Deputy Governor’s personal journey and work ethic have positioned her as a role model to women, young professionals, and citizens of Ogun State. He emphasized that her thoughtful advice, commitment to duty, and attention to detail have contributed significantly to the stability and efficiency of the present government.
He acknowledged that the collaborative relationship between both offices has helped the administration fulfill its mandate and improve the welfare of residents across different sectors of the state.
Also paying tribute, the Honourable Minister for Women Affairs, Hon. Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, described Engr. Salako-Oyedele as a pacesetter whose leadership style is rooted in integrity, vision, and hard work. She commended her for setting a standard in governance that combines professional competence with compassion and inclusiveness.
The Minister noted that throughout her career, the Ogun Deputy Governor has demonstrated how excellence and empathy can coexist in leadership. Speaking on behalf of women, children, families, and other vulnerable groups across Nigeria, she applauded Engr. Salako-Oyedele for her consistent advocacy and commitment to policies that promote the welfare and empowerment of women and children.
In a similar message, the Deputy Governor of Ekiti State, Chief (Mrs.) Monisade Afuye, described her Ogun State counterpart as a symbol of loyalty and reliability. She referred to Engr. Salako-Oyedele as a steadfast political partner whose dedication to her principal has remained firm and admirable over the years.
Chief Afuye added that their professional relationship has been strengthened by shared values of trust, cooperation, and unwavering support for good governance.
The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Alpha Morgan Bank, Mr. Ade Buraimo, also extended warm congratulations to the celebrant on behalf of the management and staff of the financial institution. He stated that the celebration of the Deputy Governor’s 60th birthday represents more than an age milestone, but rather a recognition of a legacy built on purpose, service, and positive public impact.
