Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, has approved a monthly stipend increase for traditional rulers, with payments now ranging from N250,000 to N350,000.

This update was revealed by the Commissioner for Information, Okey Kanu, during a press briefing held after the State Executive Council meeting in Umuahia on Monday.

Additional Allowances for Traditional Rulers:
Members of the Traditional Rulers Council, both at the state and local government levels, will now receive an extra N100,000 monthly allowance.

Revised 30-Year Development Plan:
The state government has pledged to rebase its 30-year development plan to align with current economic conditions. An economic team will be inaugurated soon to oversee this task.
Enforcement of Traffic and Street Trading Policies:
