2Baba Officially Introduces Fiancée Natasha Osawaru To Idoma Elders

Nigerian music legend, Innocent “2Baba” Idibia, made a significant public gesture on Monday as he formally introduced his fiancée, Honourable Natasha Osawaru, to the Idoma traditional leaders and his local community. The special occasion occurred during the Idoma Nation Peace and Unity Symposium, which was held at the Och’Idoma Palace in Otukpo, Benue State.

In traditional Idoma attire, 2Baba proudly presented Osawaru, the former Deputy Majority Leader of the Edo State House of Assembly, to His Royal Majesty, the Och’Idoma V, along with the community’s elders and respected figures. This ceremonial introduction is a symbol of 2Baba’s deep-rooted connection to his heritage and his commitment to his fiancée.

Following the palace event, 2Baba and Osawaru journeyed to Okpokwu, 2Baba’s ancestral hometown, where they met with local elders and community members. This second leg of the ceremony allowed 2Baba to reaffirm his commitment to Osawaru, seeking the approval and blessings of his family and community.

This public introduction comes shortly after 2Baba’s heartfelt proposal to Osawaru, following his separation from wife Annie Idibia. In a viral video, 2Baba expressed his admiration for Osawaru, referring to her as a “young, brilliant, and amazing woman,” underlining his desire to build a future together.

This emotional and public ceremony signifies a fresh chapter in 2Baba’s personal life, celebrated by his hometown and the larger Idoma community.
