The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Didi Esther Walson-Jack, has revealed that more than 34,000 federal civil servants in Nigeria have been provided with official government email addresses.

According to her, this significant milestone in the Nigerian civil service marks a decisive step towards secure, transparent, and efficient communication across government institutions.

Speaking during the Quarterly Stakeholders and Citizens Engagement Forum organized by the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (OHCSF) in Abuja on Friday, Walson-Jack emphasized that the initiative is strengthening public confidence in the civil service.

She noted that Nigerians are gradually beginning to renew their trust in the system, stressing that such trust is invaluable.

“We must continue to do everything within our reach to sustain and deepen this confidence,” she said.
