Goodluck Jonathan Urged To Contest 2027 Election By Ex-Buhari Campaign Leade

Dr. Jibril Mustapha, President of the Nigeria Rescue Mission Organisation and former leader of the Buhari Youth Organisation (BYO), has passionately appealed to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan to run for Nigeria’s 2027 presidential election.

Speaking in a press release issued on Sunday in Lagos, Dr. Mustapha emphasized that Jonathan’s leadership is urgently needed as the country faces multiple socio-economic crises.

“As Nigeria moves towards the 2027 elections, it is crucial for all stakeholders to unite behind a candidate who genuinely represents the hopes of every Nigerian,” Mustapha asserted.

He stressed the importance of rallying behind a leader capable of bridging divisions and steering the nation towards prosperity. “We sincerely call on former President Goodluck Jonathan to answer this call and step up once again as a unifying leader to guide Nigeria into a better future,” Mustapha said.

Highlighting the current challenges of economic hardship, insecurity, surging unemployment, and escalating banditry across the country, Mustapha underscored the urgent demand for leadership rooted in integrity, inclusivity, and a true commitment to national unity.

“Nigeria is at a critical crossroads, confronting serious threats to its stability and growth,” he added. “We need a leader who can harmonize the diverse fabric of our society and push Nigeria forward.”
