Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Wizkid has lauded the Super Eagles’ spirited preparation for their crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifier against Rwanda in Kigali.
The national team, now under the leadership of newly appointed head coach Eric Chelle, kicked off their first training session on Tuesday afternoon, showcasing renewed enthusiasm and commitment.
Reacting to the impressive energy displayed by the squad, Wizkid took to his X (formerly Twitter) account on Wednesday to express his admiration. He tweeted:

The decisive encounter is scheduled to take place at Amahoro Stadium in Rwanda on Friday, March 21, with kickoff set for 5 PM Nigerian time.
After their clash with Rwanda, the Super Eagles will return home to take on Zimbabwe in Uyo on Tuesday, March 25.
With qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup at stake, the Nigerian team must secure maximum points from both fixtures to strengthen their chances of making it to the tournament.
