Registration Fees Breakdown
Candidates opting for the UTME with a mock test will pay a total of ₦8,200, while those choosing only the UTME will pay ₦7,200. Below is a breakdown of the fees:
- UTME/DE Application Fee: ₦3,500
- Reading Text Fee: ₦1,000
- CBT Centre Registration Service: ₦700
- CBT Centre UTME Service Fee: ₦1,500
- Mock UTME Service Fee: ₦1,500
- Bank Charges: ₦500
- Mock-UTME CBT Centre Charge: ₦1,500
New Mock Exam for Underage Candidates
JAMB has introduced a special mock UTME for candidates below 16 years. This initiative is not for admission purposes but rather to assess their academic abilities ahead of future examinations.
Age Requirement for Admission
To be eligible for admission into any Nigerian tertiary institution, candidates must be at least 16 years old by September 30, 2025. However, exceptionally brilliant candidates under 15 years may be considered if they achieve a UTME score of 280 and above, along with outstanding performance in their Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) and post-UTME assessments.
