The statement alleged that university activities were unaffected by the ongoing industrial action by the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU) and Non-Academic Staff Union (NASU). Alignment with Joint Action Committee (JAC) ASUU-LASU emphasized that the strike aligns with the directives of the Joint Action Committee (JAC) comprising all staff unions at LASU. A formal notification of the strike has been sent to both the Vice-Chancellor and the Governor of Lagos State, who is the Visitor to the university.
