The confirmation came through a statement from FIFA President, Gianni Infantino, on Wednesday, highlighting the financial structure of the highly anticipated tournament. Earlier this month, FIFA unveiled a total prize fund of $1 billion for the competition, set to take place in the United States from June 14 to July 13, 2025. Prize Distribution Breakdown Approximately 50% of the $1 billion pool will be allocated among all 32 participating clubs, with the share per club determined by sporting achievements and commercial value. As a result, top clubs such as Manchester City and Real Madrid are expected to earn a higher percentage compared to smaller teams, following a revenue model devised by FIFA in collaboration with the European Club Association (ECA). Additionally, a performance-based reward system will distribute $475 million, ensuring that clubs with more victories across the potential seven-match campaign receive greater financial rewards. The highest-performing club can claim up to $125 million. For more details, check FIFA’s official announcement.
